Don't use any more than it takes to barely haze the panel you are working on. Literally a dime sized circle will do the whole front fender.
I applied it with a dampened blue shop towel, and as it gets wetter with 845, you use even less the further you go on the vehicle.
The instructions say that you can wipe it off almost immediately, but for my hands and shoulders, I found that it works better to let it dry to a haze.....after I worked it in with my buffer.
This is the first wax that I ever felt like doing the top of the truck and canopy with because it is so easy to use and remove.....so I did, and with great results......thank you God for my nice step stool though!!!

Got mine today..Have not used it yet but was wondering how "liquidy" it is supposed to be..Mine appears to be more of a thin paste inside the bottle almost like soft butter..Is it supposed to be really thin and watery or more pasty..just wondering if they sent me an old bottle or something

That's how it is. Set the bottle in a bowl of hot water, then shake it up really good. Or u can set it out in sun while washing truck. Just make sure u shake it up.

How does it work in the hot sun shine? Most waxes say to not use them in the hot sun. But for some of us it is unavoidable. Some waxes do ok and some are very hard to remove. They tend to leave a streaking smear that will drive you nuts.

i think he was just recommending i leave the bottle in the sun to soften it up, not necessarily to wax it in the sun. How is it unavoidable..If you don't have a garage just wait until later in the day, early evening..Even if you run out of light to finish getting it off you can do that the next day.

Yes, what sluggo said. Just the bottle to soften the wax up. And u r right, they do say not to wax in the sun, it just makes it harder to remove the wax residue. But it's doable. Did my truck yesterday in middle of day, 80 degrees, and no clouds. Came out nice.

Your truck looks fantastic! It's funny how thick the 845 is when you first get it. You can almost squeeze it out the top and cut it with a knife.
Once you get some room in the bottle, warm it in a bowl of hot water, and then you can really shake it up.....not much room for any shaking at first....
