Default IDIOT! - got lazy and went to car wash.

Well I guess I will be visiting a body shop now. Went to car wash sunday. Everyone had just raved about it. Now there are small scratches all over my truck. Some you cannot feel with a fingernail. Some you can just barely catch a fingernail on.

That will be the last time I make that mistake.

That won't go anywhere unfortunately. They all have that "not responsible for damage" signs around here. It is my own stupid fault.

You say that, but I recall a situation on here where it was found out that the wash actually was responsible for the damage, and the signs are basically just for scare. It's worth asking a lawyer, maybe. That's one of the many reasons why companies have insurance. Signs do not make them automatically immune.

If it scratched your truck, they are liable. Problem would be proving it I am sure.

ha ha ha. funny you mention that. They have a detail shop that everyone raves about. I should call and ask them if they can buff out the scratches that their carwash created.

I get paranoid even using a touchless wash! Would much rather spend an hour or two in the driveway.
