F*&#$%*@ scratch!!!!!!
So I also posted in the 2015-2018 thread, but some of the guys there told me to post here as well. Below is 2 pix of a dam scratch I noticed on my 3 month old 2018 XLT Sport.. I'm more then bummed!! I am hoping it can be buffed out? Or something??? I know it's a truck, and it'll get dents and dings.. but it's too soon. I have no idea how it happened. I didn't drive into branches, I always park WAYYY away from the masses.. I am really baffled. Anyway, what do you guys think??

You can get that out, just need the right product and be careful not to use too much pressure when applying. You want to use the least aggressive rubbing compound to start with. I would suggest something like this.

There are several other products by most all car care folks. If you don't want to order just head to your local parts store. Mother's, MaGuire's etc. all make a rubbing compound. Using a quality (soft) microfiber towel is just as important,

Looks deep from the pic. You'll need a rotary buffer to hide that, or wet sand the paint to get rid of it all together. Both will require a small amount of work, equipment if you dont have it and and definite caution to do.

******** UPDATE *********
So a friend apparently has a friend (I never knew) that owns a body shop.. he sent me there today. After about 10 min with what I believe was a rotary buffer, the scratch was completely gone! Thanks to everyone who gave advise!

Fantastic. I told you it would come out. Now after seeing what they did you can do the next one yourself.
