Thanks Greg for answering some more. I wasn't sure if that was the wash and gloss that you were talking about, but that's good to know because I purchased it and used it a few weeks ago and too like it. I'm just waiting to do a full detail and plan on using cquartz and reload. Let me ask you this, I'm sure you tried gtechniq. Which do you prefer and why? Reason I ask is because I have gtechniq c1 and crystal seal and cquartz plus reload and am unsure which one I'd like to use for my whole truck. I'd like to hear what an experienced detailer like yourself has to say about each. It's my daily driver and sits outside every day. 24/7. Thanks in advance for your replies.

CaSCrew,

Are you getting CQFinest or CQUk, finest has to be installed by a pro. Reload you can apply yourself, it has a learning curve to it, but doable.

I would stick with CQFinest for your truck, and be good on Maint methods as you have it out 24/7. Reload gives you about 3-5months depending on a few factors, this will help preserve the CQ coating.

Cheers,
GREG

Thanks for your advice Greg! The cquartz I have is just the regular cquartz for 2014. I have used the reload and it worked well for me. I got about 3 months out of that as a stand alone on my hood this winter. I usually wash my truck every week or every other week, so the maintenance shouldn't be an issue. Again, thanks for the point in the right direction. As soon as I can get about 15 hours to detail my truck, probably over my spring break, or this summer, I'll make sure and post up some pics of how it turned out!
