Apologies in advance for the necro-post but to close the loop on this related to my original question....Lexol worked like a champ.

Soapy water to clean (and dry...) at first, sprayed on the Lexol and wiped down with a damp cloth. Looks great and is not slippery,

YMMV...try in a small spot first just to be sure.

Thumbs up Murphy Oil Soap and Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner

Hey Guys, I'm new here. I vacuumed first, then used Murphy Oil Soap with hot water and sponge (yes the wood cleaner) but also cleans vinyl as it says on the back. Once that dried I used Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner spray, wiped it down and then used dry cloth to remove any excess. Came out looking brand new. Hope this helps.

I know it is a rather old thread but I thought I'd share my experience with you guys!
A few months back I was trying to clean an heavily stained car carpet I had (weird mix of dirt, oil and probably some other unspeakable things ahaha). And nothing would do the trick. Until I asked a friend of mine who told me to try ecoclean multi from IGL coatings, it worked well. I went the extra mile and got it coated with ecocoat fabric from the same brand, I don't really know how it works, but it is hydrophobic, which makes it harder to stain and so much easier to clean, you should try!
