Lemon juice is an acid. You would want to follow that with a base to neutralize the acidity. Even at a low concentration it can dry the leather.

Try duragloss leather shampoo (#441) and duragloss leather conditioner (#221). You can find it at NAPA and CarQuest pretty easily. Great priced product with great results. I like to find products that give the most bang for the buck and these both fit the bill perfectly.
