4 hours to wash my truck! Has to be a better way, right?

Wash in the shade when the paint is cool. Keep it wet until you are done, don't let the soap dry either!
I use a leaf blower and as I dry, I use a waffle weave or plush MF and some quick detailer. The last guy that owned my truck must have used the sun and well water as I have a lot of crust built up. This spring I will be taking vinegar to it and get all the mineral deposits off the truck.

Like most have said...to avoid water spots during washing....
Use the two bucket wash method every time you wash.
Wash it when the paint surface is cool and in the shade.
Start from the roof (top down), hood, sides, wheels (w/old towels) last.
Do a section at a time and completely dry each section.
Wash, rinse, dry, repeat until the entire vehicle is completed.
Leaf blowers work but they do not have an air filter.
Dry each section with large clean quality microfiber towel.
Touch up any missed water spots with a quick detailer (QD).
A few QD's I like are Zaino Z-6, Megs QD, GG Speed Shine.
Do not use a QD spray wax/sealant to remove water spots.
Filtered rinse water helps to greatly reduce water spots.
