I don't like my amps on the floor either. I only mention it because I don't know of anywhere else in the truck to mount it. Behind the seat is the next best place but won't get any cooling back there if the amp gets too hot.

I agree thats a pretty tight space for any kind of air flow to keep it cool. I had the same amp behind the seat of my '90 and it worked out great. Hoping for the same results here.
