Default Signature photo issue

OK, I know we can add a pic to our sig using the upload pic feature (I mean it is in my signature already), but my issue is my sig pic I want to use is not static, it changes, so the static pic I upload one day is not always correct the next.

Are outside linked images just not allowed at all in signatures?

This is what I want in my sig:
PHP Code:
[URL=http://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/f-150/2002/blupupher/287393][IMG]http://badges.fuelly.com/images/smallsig-us/287393.png[/IMG][/URL]
Shows this with a dynamic pic that updates when I add a fill up.

My current sig is now:
PHP Code:
[URL=http://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/f-150/2002/blupupher/287393][SIGPIC][/SIGPIC][/url]
which shows what is in my sig, but the mileage will not be current after my next fill up unless I manually change it.

I'm only necroing this because I've been trying to do the same thing with no success.

Are images not rendered properly from URL's in signatures?

Any of the admins want to comment on why this isn't working?

Thanks so much!

Signature pictures must be only uploaded via the signature photo uploader in your USER CP.

Probably has something to do with bandwidth allocation. Having something dynamic like that could be taxing on the server. My best guess anywho.

You don't understand the dynamics of what's being discussed here. Hard to explain coding where websites are concerned.
