Wait, so is this a statment, or a question? This has never happened to me until now. Here's the thread that it happened in (2 page, near the bottom); https://www.f150forum.com/f4/inside-...-77891/index2/. Is this a problem that is going to get fixed, or a addition that has been put into place?

Whatever it is, it sucks and is annoying. Happened to me in several threads now.

That seemed to work ok. How are you placing the picture you mentioned (married couple) in the post initially, before it gets turned into an attachment?

Happening to me too...

I copy the image code from Photobucket and paste in...that's it.

Pie in my face!

Ha ha - didn't happen that time...did somebody fix something?

There was a plugin added network wide, that takes every embedded image, and adds it as an attachment. The idea being that it would preserve valuable images, especially in DiY type threads against outside hosts going offline etc.

The way it works is admitted a bit cludgey, and was "supposed" to have been uninstalled last Friday. They are definitely looking to add it, but the way it works needs some refinement. There have been many similar concerns aired on all sites where it was implemented.

So the moral of the story is, the plugin has now been uninstalled until they work the bugs out.

I notice that when I post pictures they are showing up as full sized attachments. See this thread as an example :

https://www.f150forum.com/f118/tow-m...ctures-365884/

I upload all of the images using the paperclip icon on the toolbar. Then I copy the hyperlink address of the picture I uploaded and paste it into the thread, using the format.
