There's a real world out there, as we all know. Life happen's while we make our best laid plan's. Then, our plan's must change accordingly.

A lot of emotion's come w/ change. Some are exhilarating. Some are fear of the unknown. Some warranted, other's...not so much.

Jon & Nathan had to make some real life choice's based on "their" big picture. A picture they alone are privy to. I'm sure we all wish them the best, as they have done their best for us.

This will be an interesting changing of the guard. Time will tell if for the better or worse, or a maintenance of the status quo. This Forum has a strong core following.

I prefer to start any transition w/ optimism. At least wait till there's something actually worth bitching about!

Not if our new "step-sister" F-150 sites are any indication. IB already own a few. Some very successful IMO, if you don't mind...You know, I'm not going to talk about their other site's. That may cause presumptions as to how this Forum site may or may not be Modified.

These guy's didn't just fall off the turnip truck. I'm sure they're aware of the uniqueness of their new acquisition & will try to blend in modification w/ minimal disruption to the core. This is an asset. Members do have a vote. That being, playing here, or picking up their marbles & going someplace else. That would be a "loose/loose" for all concerned.

I'm along for the ride, until they, or myself decide otherwise.

Speaking to core disruption, an "anything goes sub-forum"...well, allowing that would be enough for me to "go find myself another hobby". I ain't down w/ that.

But don't let that stop you from ranting for one. Good luck to you! ( Not really)

We need to model our forum off of sadly enough, Gmfullsize.com, their community is huge and runs smooth as can be.

We have over 88,000 members (thats double the members of gmfullsize btw), I really dont think we need to model our forum after any other forum personally.

With the statement I had made, both of you guys pointed out what is wrong with this site. I did not once state that they were bigger than F150Forum, I just stated that they have a big member base, and the site runs suprisingly smooth.

It is appreciated what the staff does to keep this site afloat, its an amazing community, as it should be. I am not trying to start a flame war, but express ideas and keep the door open to new ones. I am aticipating this "buyout" to not change things, however only time will tell.
