and remember, even then, there are members who are not 18, and already have close to 10k posts.
there seems to be a few good points made in this thread, and some bad ones.
while those of you who know what i can be like, i'm going to try to keep this simple.
try this... log out, and google your account name. notice that you can see ABSOLUTELY every post you've ever posted?
so, if someone makes a rather implied insult, for instance... calling someone stupid etc, and posts it, then that post has officially become public. which is where libel laws will take effect, someone will get sued, and the forum will have egg on its face for allowing it, while the mods will be pretty embarrased to call themselves a mod here, and above all... one man i know, would feel it the most.
so, NSFW stuff... come on, really? last time i looked, the site is about trucks, mainly!!! i can agree that there should be some ranter about this and that. but, when i come across a thread where some guy is flipping out because his gf is claiming that she got raped... and the guy is on here because he needs to cut loose, well... this just ain't the place for that. i say, grab a bat and go find a stop sign.
and to serve my case well, i would like everyone to look at the first 8 pages of a thread called "charlie stevens"... really? would you associate yourself when it comes to that? i know i wouldn't. but i did my best to roll with it, and luckily, i made a group of good friends out of it. one of which, i stuck up for, even tho... i know i didn't need to. heck, there was a few of us who were backing the kid up quickly against a mod.
since then, i've had convo after convo after convo with someone about anything and everything. i can understand why there isn't all sorts of stuff allowed here. this thread has enlightened me to seeing that i'm not the only one in the forum who believes in "moderate professionalizm"
i for one feel that if i wanted to actually get agression out, i'd play a first person shooter game on ps3 or race gran turismo... but if i wanted to be an outright d*ck and just let it all out... yahoo chat! yep... there's more kinds of idiots in there than i'll ever have the luxury of meeting. true darwinism. go on, laugh it up, but i find those chat rooms have more people who get angry faster than anything else. it doesn't take long to have a logic comment ruin someone's thesis and you can actually hear them pause. oh, and that brings on another thing... you can actually hook up your mic and headphones, and chat vocally with them too.
but, i can't say i've done this within the last 5 years. so things may have changed. but from the personalities that i've profiled successfully over time, i can say there's quite a few who would lose weight laughing in the yahoo chat sites. i'm not knocking on yahoo, just they are too laid back when it comes to their chat rooms.
so, why am i here so much, it's because every damn time i've ever tried to research something on my 2010 f150, or my 2002 dakota, it always led me to this forum's threads first... yes, even if i was looking up stuff for my dak.
needless to say, this is my home. my home forum. i have learned many a many times the hard way, and when i'm bored, i'll cruise the new posts, and see if i can help out some newbies...
anyways, the way i see it... if i wanted to look at nude pics, a f150 forum surely would be the last place i'd go. the first place i'd go... where ever my gf is.
anyways... becca predicted a fire, i think i may have just lit the fuse. lmao

The thread talking about a members thread was deleted. We cannot stop those threads but can be deleted upon viewing.
The supporting members section is new here.It serves its purpose well so far. Its not full of ****. There are a few crazy pictures here and there. But thats about it.
You cannot view post from the supporting members section. Unless you have the account that has supporting members section clearance.

The **** and swearing is at a good level on this forum. Think about it. If you're cruising the web and you come across a forum full of **** and swearing and member bashing, what will you think?
The best way to have a nsfw section is to close off the forum, enter private browsing (or clear history later) and have your special time.
There's a lot of good people on here. The off topic section we talk about anything and everything.
Ok, rant over.
That's me.
