I think this will be great. Many forums I've been on in the past seem to fade out as new engines, body style etc. come out. I love my 5.4, there is nothing it can not handle, that I care about. Like everyone else with the older engines, I'm tired of the slogan, just upgrade to a ecoboost when someone has the question about their 5.4 or 4.6. That not an option for most people. I myself had to save awhile to buy a new truck and will have it for many many yes to come.
I think it is a great idea as well, I have a 5.4L and while trading my truck in would be very nice, it just isn't a option right now.

Ive never liked how the sections are broken down into years. IMO there isnt enough difference to have a section just for the 09-10 engines because they are not far from the original 4.6-5.4 engines that have been used from 1997. If it were up to me it would be broken down like this.
V8 Tech:
-302/351/460
-4.6/5.4 2 Valve
-4.6/5.4 3 Valve
-5.0 Coyote
-6.2
6 Cylinder Tech:
-300 I6
-4.2
-3.7
-3.5 Ecoboost
ect ect.
Also, there is a "comments and suggestions" section for threads like this, Ill move this thread to it.

I have a 5.4 in my 09 supercab. I have had the truck for one week now, enjoy the smoothness of the motor however I think I am experiencing the tranny shudder on six speed. I bought it CPO however learned that the CPO warranty isnt as inclusive as I thought. Hope to get it to the dealer for the tranny software reflash/upgrade TSB to solve my shifting issues.
Question, how can I find out what gear ratio I have? Havent looked throught the Owners Manual yet but wasnt sure if it would be in there either.
