I am viewing on iPhone 6s, running iOS 11.2. When I view this site, it is draining my battery incredibly fast. Sometimes over 1% or 2% a minute.

Anyone else have this issue? It seems to be worse when opening a long thread. Any suggestions on how to improve this?

I am sure that the very intrusive ads this site has have something to do with it. Try installing an AdBlocker on your iPhone and see if that resolves it. I use 1Blocker.
