Default Enough with the damn ads already!

Look, we ALL know it's an election year. I come to this site to read about Fords.

I don't plan to come to this site until after the Nov. elections if "The Economy is Slowing..............." and CRAP like that ads keep poping up everytime I try and open a topic to read!

If you think we unjoy this, THINK AGAIN! IT DOESN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it's up you, web site masters! Either STOP or CONTINUE and loose fans, PERIOD!

The only ads I get are the ones at the top of the page and down the right side....they don't block any content.....have you thought about a good ad blocker program? It might be good for your blood pressure too!

Geeze man, relax, those ads pay for this website. Bandwidth isnt free and maintaining a website like this is not cheap at all. If they bother you that much you should do as suggested above and download an ad blocker plug in for your browser.

EDIT: Are you getting pop ups or just the ads on top and side of the page? If they are pop ups you shouldnt be getting those and they should be reported to the site admin.

^This.

Besides, the ads are often targeted based upon your browsing habits. . .

The OP probably has malware. OP, go to www.malwarebytes.org, download the free version, install, update and scan. Bet you find something....

A lot of these forums give non registered members and members not recognized as such because they don't sign in or set things to always be logged on a whole bunch of more advertising.

I thought this was going to be enough of those obnoxious F150 television ads. I wish i could figure out how to cut class on the one that is class dismissed and fail to see how if one has to save $ so much why buy a new F150 and one with an $1700 option that doesn't get better mileage than the base model like saving gas is what they are bragging about.
