Can we have sub categories for 2011 motors?

I'd spend a great majority of my time on the 5.0 page so I could ask and answer questions specifically about my engine.
These general pages tend to bring the debates that turn into pissin matches about the two engines (you know which engines I mean)
I've always said that BOTH engines are great but frankly, I'm real tired of the bashing of both. Seriously. This forum is starting to get real bad and I find myself visiting less and less every day because of that.
There's still good - heck; REAL GOOD information here posted by owners that really want to help but they are harder to find when having to read and cut through all the mean spirited posts just focusing back and forth "mine is better then yours". Yours is not better then mine, were different - just like peoples jobs, races and cars too.
When I joined this (and other) forum(s), I was hoping that I'd see a "family" of F150 owners that wanted to help, share and positively influence other owners.
Maybe we need a "Pissin and Moaning" or "Let's see how mean we can be to fellow F150 owners" forums?
We could just transfer those existing posts to these two "new" forums and those of us serious members can continue to do what these forums were initially meant to do - help and share with other members.

I respectfully disagree.

i figure it like this...i have no interest in flippin threw the EB page to read up or learn new things about them and if i do the bam, EB page is just a click away..and im sure that everyone feels the same about their own motors..i have no beef with the EB guys, i dont like seeing everyone hating on another ford...
actually i dont think anyone really hates or dislikes another 2011+ ford motor...i think everyone is just sick and tired of reading EB titles when they are more concerned with their own stuff..
know what i mean?
i think if we seperate them then it will cool everyones temp atleast just a little

Lets face it, 2011 started all new engines for the F150's, the V6's (3.7 and Ecoboost 3.5) and the V8's (5.0 and 6.2). I may be mistaken about the 6.2.
2010 and previous didn't have these engines available so I would agree that 2011 and higher should have their own category - THEN - break those down to each engine.
The 2011 are completely different than 2010 and previous years - engines, electronics, transmissions. Why are the 2011's so different and still grouped with the previous years?
I know some of you non 2011 owners may take offense to this and I truly don't mean any disrespect at all. The 5.4 engines are proven workhorses. I have a buddy that has a 2006 F150 and that thing's a beast! I drove it the other day and was suprised at the power it had. I've spent lots of time reading about the Eco's and the 5.0's being awesome but I have to admit, I underestimated the 5.4's *****.
There are TONS MORE of the 5.4's out there then the 2011 lineup and you should have your own forum as well. Many drive-train issues and mods just don't apply to the newer years and vise-versa.
I just think that a little more separation of the different types of trucks would help members focus better on their type, rather then sifting through all the other posts that don't relate.
I think you said it perfectly (posted by Geritgoul): "i have no interest in flippin threw the EB page to read up or learn new things about them and if i do then bam, EB page is just a click away..."
Lastly, to all, I really REALLY LOVE MY TRUCK! The only issue I've had is the transmission shudder when loaded/towing and I've been following many posts on the failed resolutions. I hope Ford will resolve this sooner then later but I guess that's what the warranty is for.
I've learned SO MUCH from this forum and all the members that want to help and share their thoughts, ideas - (some good and some not so good), mods, issues and much, much more.
I'm not trying to negatively criticize the moderators/owners of this forum rather, I'm trying to positively suggest ways to improve the experience. Please take my comments in the spirit they were meant.

@justjimmy : do you have a 6.5 box with an ecoboost that has the towing shudder on takeoff up to 20mph?
Ford has been testing various fixes for it and I get updates from my service manager as to what they tried. So they are working on it.
Evidence points to needing a traction bar system to stop spring wrap and axle twist that puts the ujoints of the 2 piece driveshaft at the wrong angle under torque.

I have a 5.0L SCAB - 6 1/2 foot bed.
Yes, I experience the shudder when towing - at the top of 1st and 2nd gears, pretty bad. After that, I don't notice anything.
I'd LOVE a fix - sooner then later. I'm taking a long trip in about three weeks to Fort White, Florida camping and tubing with some friends. It's about a 230 mile trip towing my toy hauler - around 6,000 pounds.
In case I miss anything, PLEASE keep me posted on a fix!
