I don't know the financials of this site and I'm not affiliated.

But it's a free site. Free to sign up and talk about anything and it's made possible by ads. Sometimes ads are to strong though. Ads shouldn't overtake content.

I haven't seen the Amazon ad or any other than the top.banner.

Ad block plus is a program, among others, that fixes it for me. It's just download and forget about it, it just works.

So I see what everyone is saying but I and a few others have posted what works for them. I'm sure it will work for you guys also..

I have had it happen to me 6 times trying to get through the 5 pages of this thread, just now. It started today, for me. Does anyone know why it is so bad? Very annoying. Would Amazon like to hear that I will quit shopping with them if this keeps up? Once again,,, very annoying.

I have never seen an ad on this site. I have some free ad blocker I installed years ago. I guess it must work....

I used to use Ad Blocker but switched to uBlock Origin and it works better.

I also use Mozilla FireFox or the Google Chrome Browser so if you are using anything else just stop.

When the Amazon ad pops up. Press the “back” button. Then press “close” on the ad.

This Amazon ad is getting seriously rediculous. No way it’s normal for a pop up ad to take over this frequently and no, I shouldn’t have to put an ad blocker on my phone to look at the site. This ad completely taking over to the point of having to reload the site is in no way normal.
