This is out of control. I just bought ad block and I still get the annoying Amazon pop up. Repeatedly. So now I need another paid ad blocker? I’d rather give my money to the site, but I’d be fool to pay for pop ups. I’ve never experienced this kind trouble before.

Gents... please be patient. There's LOTS of things in the works with our site owners as far as mobile browser is concerned. In the not too distant future, all support for the Garage Talk app will cease (it mostly has already) and mobile browsing will be the best/only way to view the forum. As it is- when the popup situation isn't overrunning things, it's a fantastic way to use the forum.

We know about it. We all experience it. I intentionally disabled my popup blocker so I can keep tabs on it. We are working on it. Being the holiday season, progression on fixing things should be expectedly slow. Once the season is over, issues will hopefully be addressed quicker.

Don't lose hope. A fix will be made.

I am so bummed! The forum has become almost unusable! It is nearly impossible to read anything, the last few days. What in hell is going on?
I do not understand what this is about. Does Amazon pay to annoy the living **** out of people? Does anyone actually try for a $1000 gift card?
It’s gotten to be where it is just not worth the hassle.

Anyone using Android, and Chrome on it, can just click the setting to view as "desktop site".

No popup blocker needed just for this one issue. I have not seen the ad pop up even once since I've been viewing the site this way form my phone.

This guy is correct! Interestingly enough I've been under the assumption that I always was on the desktop version with all the pinching I was doing on my iPhone. I'm using Chrome and in the settings there is a tab for "Request Desktop Site". This seems to have fixed the problem for me. Could've saved the money on the worthless ad blocker I bought in the app store. Many thanks to you dajouh!!

This has been going on way before the holidays but has gotten progressively worse. I guess the owners are not concerned about losing members! As stated this site is unusable at this point. How can I delete my account? Is there a way? Thanks.

IB is worth billions. KKR, which owns them, is worth many billions. Don't give any of your money to them. If they wanted the issue fixed, ut would be.

Been going on for months. If IB wanted it fixed, it would be. They could have 100 people working on it. They have lots of money to hire contractors, or turn ads off until a fix is made. The choose not to on multiple forums they own.. I call BS. IB has revenue over $1B and 70% is from advertising.

Touché but I want to make a point and deactivate my account then never come back. They make money all sorts of ways with data including your profile information/how many users. And I agree if they wanted it fixed they would, but if traffic doesn’t go down and people dont deactivate accounts why bother getting LESS ad revenue AND pay someone to fix it? PS I love how they remove any complaints from the main forums so it doesn’t gain any traction.
