My favorite of all time (and I wish I had a picture of it) was the 1980 F-150 XLT I got from my dad when he bought his diesel. It had the 351M with a 4 speed and 4x4. That truck was a tank. It ran like a dream from day one. It was a dark green and white and I loved every mile.

My first Ford truck was a 1976 F-150 Anniversary edition. Not sure who will remember that model, but it was painted light blue, with a gold eagle going all the way down it. Was a great truck and definitely built Ford Tough because I had a bad accident in it about 10 years ago and went off a 25ft embankment and rolled it several times. No one can tell me that thing wasn't Ford Tough!!!

My first was a 71 F-100 with a 351W, then a 69 F-100 Ranger with a 460, after that a 2000 Lariat scab, now a 2006 STX regcab and a 84 F-150 with a 4.9L (that one's for the rough work)

My first f150 was a battery operated Bigfoot truck that had a shifter in the bed, and switches in the roof. At 6 yrs old, it was the best toy ever. My uncle had 77 that had the old electronic organ horn that played like 9 different tunes. Ooga, road runner, and of course Dixie are the ones I remember. Best friend in high schools pops had a 79 bronco with a 460 and 44s on it.

So far I can claim the oldest, 1964 F100, Last year of the Y Block 292 V8, 3 on the tree (I converted it to a Hurst Floor shifter). In 1964 the windshield washer was a bulb on the floor that you pushed with your foot to pump fluid. There was NO factory a/c or radio option, (they were dealer installed options) I had to use a hacksaw to cut a hole in the dash for a am/fm cassette player. There was no pcv valve, it had a road draft tube. Mechanical lifters that had to be adjusted every 3000 miles, single chamber master cylinder, no power steering, no power brakes. How many of you guys owned a vehicle with vent or wing windows ?....
