My current (and first) F150 will probably become my favourite vehicle as time goes on. However my favourite ride so far was my 1999 Cavalier 2door with 5-speed. Took me everywhere I needed to go when I was a young man with a social life! Got me out of many a hairy situation - never gave me any trouble and got incredible gas mileage (~35-40mpg on interstate drives!). I had to sell her to pay off my fines for driving without a licence and insurance - hope whoever owns her now is treating her well

all hail the blue oval
Probably my most enjoyable to drive was my 1966 Mustang Coup with a 289. Put a lot of time and money in that car and am still kicking myself for selling it (so is my 17 year old son). As much as i hate to admit it my best ride was a 1990 Chevy Corsica. The car was 4 cyl plain jane but other than a new muffler every year it never gave a bit of problems but as plain as it was I guess there really wasn't anything on it to go bad.

Favorite hot rod: 1964 Dodge 330 2Dr, black w/ red interior, 383ci 4BBL, dual exhaust, Hurst 4 speed, Police Pursuit package. Max speed 140mph @ 5750rpm, 14sec/100mph quarter, 19mpg, 10k miles to a set or rear tires. Bought brand new in '64 in Orlando, FL, for $3100. Today, accounting for inflation, the cost would be about $33,000!
Favorite econo-box: 1982 VW Rabbit 1600cc diesel 4speed, 48mpg hwy and 44mpg in town.
Favorite project car: 1975 Pinto Squire Wagon, 2.8L V6, turbocharged.

Then it saved my life when I over corected and rolled it. Ill never like a vehicle as much as this thing.

I would say my best vehicle ever is the Lightning. I got it with 45k on it and minimal mods, but it spent a lot of time on the dragstrip. I modded it more, and it spent even more time at the strip. I would say overall is has 80k worth of 1/8th and 1/4 mile passes, and 20k on the street since it was a DD for a bit.
The only mechanical problems have been a trasnmission, map sensor, coolant pump, and axle bearings. The transmission was built by a reputable shop, but I strung it out one night and boom - two piece input shaft. Other than that, the truck has been flawless for the amount of hell its caught over the past 8-9 years.
