Number One: My current vehicle, a 2007 Ford Sport Trac Limited 4.6 4x4.
Number Two: 1975 International Harvester 3/4 ton truck, 4x4 345 V8 that I purchased new. That truck was a beast, could and did pull or haul anything. Paired with a 16 foot Hillsboro dump grain trailer.
Number Three: First car, a 1974 Mustang II that I also purchased new.

Best ever was a 2001 F250 Superdty that I bought with 19K on it for $9000 and after extensive mods, drove it until it had 175K on it and sold it for $7,000. Never a single issue. Only thing that "had" to be replaced, the starter. No engine or transmission problems on the 5.4 2V.

Gotta say my 2007 Honda Pilot. That thing is comfortable and reliable as hell. Great in the snow too.
Pretty much the only problem - and it's major, at least to me - is the NVH. It's too loud at speed, and you can hear every pothole and bump as if you're down in there with the tires as they make contact. I understand this was fixed in later model years, but don't expect to have a normal conversation on the highway.

My 02 Miata which I just traded for my 2014 screw . I put over 140,000 on it with nothing major other than normal maintenance . I beat that car do to death on the track and the street and it always started in the morning . Sadly our lifestyle is changing and the truck is more fitting for future plans. We both dearly miss that car but are slowly forgetting it.

1977 ltd
While there will always be a special place in my heart for my first car, a 1965 Mercury Comet that my father gave me for my 16th birthday in 1975, I would have to say the best I had was the 1977 LTD 2-door. I liked it so much I owned three of them!
The first of the three was the one I inherited from my father when he passed in 1980. Like the Comet he purchased it brand new. And if it wasn't for a drunk plowing into it while it was parked in the street I would still have it today. It had 222,000 miles on it.
Come to think of it, the Comet was also totaled by drunk while it was parked.

Depends on your definition of best.
My '13 F150 is the best equipped, most luxurious vehicle I've ever owned so far.
The best vehicle I've had the most fun with was my '96 GSX-R 750! It was the first motorcycle I ever owned and I met some great people and had some awesome rides on that thing!

my current F150 is probably the nicest and most useful...
most fun and unique car was my 01 Volvo S40 1.9t. leather everywhere, turboed 4 cylinder was great on fuel, was SUPER smooth and comfy to drive. Used to take that thing down oil lease roads at some impressive speeds. Had a killer audio setup in it, Tantric HD15 in 4 cubes @ 30hz, Sundown 2k, lots of class a/b power on the JBL mids/highs, some XS Power Batteries and a Singer 220 amp h/o alt.
Worst decision I ever made was getting rid of that car. 145k miles and it was just broken in. Cruised 8 hours to Austin, TX without a hiccup. I could beat the block down all day in 100 degree heat, idling the car for 8 hours at a time, then turn around and cruise 4, 5, 6+ hours back home...
Then again my 6.0 PSD Lariat was nice too.
