Default your best vehicle ever??

My current vehicles are a 2008 Fusion, which is a great economical user friendly car. But my love is my 1986 F150.

I have driven so many cars from an original mini to a Mercedes SLC560, the car I had most fun driving was a 1964 Ford Lotus Cortina, with specially modified Rally chassis, awesome to drive around the country lanes of Uk, although I would imagine it would be boring on the long straight roads here in North America. Was a Chevy man when growing up, then Standard/Triumphs (UK car), then when I had made a few pennies drove Volvos (boring but reliable and ideal for 5 kids and animals..) Now I am in Canada I have fallen for the truck, but most of all the older F150 (love the sound of that big old V8 Grr Grrr Grrr!!!)

My favourite 1979 Volvo 245GL 650,000 miles in her and she never let me down, so much fun 3 goats in the back at one time, my kids loved her with a passion. memories mmmmm.

So my question is what is your favourite (sorry favorite I'll get used to American language soon... I promise!) vehicle you have driven, and the reasons please??

Hard choice to pick just one. We've had a few good ones. To narrow it down, I guess it would be a a 1990 T-Bird. 3.8 V-6. Never had a problem with it. Gas mileage was absolutely fantastic at 30+ highway. Each of my children drove it through their high school years. Everyone in the family loved that car and took pride in taking care of her.

Honorable mention: 1984 Celebrity Station Wagon. Only beat out by the T-bird because of the 'Bird's steering and handling.

Can't forget the three F-150's I've owned. Each was a joy. The '94 XLT and current '96 Eddie Bauer where/are as comfortable and had the creature comforts of automobiles. The '82 Custom was the definition of a "truck". Vinyl seat and floor mats. No radio. No A/C. Steel wheels and FoMoCo center hub caps. When I sold the '82 to get the '94, my children said, "The '82 was a man's truck. The '94 is an old-man's truck."

considering ive only put 40 miles on my lariat, id have to say my 2001 ranger is the best vehicle ive owned. i have not had any problems with it, its never let me down and its a blast to drive.

it may lose its spot when the F-150 is finished, but time will tell

Default Best Vehicle

I'd have to say my favorite is my 94 T-Bird. Fun to drive, handles curves very well and gets good mileage. It's the type of vehicle they'll have to pry out of my dead hands when the day comes. My 07 SCab XLT is nice, drives well and handles good for a vehicle that size but no way can it keep up with the Bird in the curves.

Another vote for the 89-97 series T-Bird.

I'm driving it because it's the only vehicle I've ever owned. My favorite vehicle that my family owned is either My truck 1992 F-150 or my dad's old Bronco (forgot the year) that he took me to elementary school in every day.
