Personally I have owned one Nissan and a Honda. Still own the Honda. Love the Honda for the reliability and gas. Love the Truck for the cheap replacement parts, its a truck (not that ridgeline) I can't call that a truck. And the American Muscle. Ford did not take any bail out money. I am not liking Ford's new attitude though. The F-150 has not had a transmission available in it since 2008 and I think that is the same year they got in bed with Microsux to buy Stync from them. (no spelling errors). Sigh. Why did you do that Ford? At least offer an upgrade path, pay a little more and you get an Operating system based enertainment system Mac or Linux based. Pay a little more and you get a transmission and a clutch with ANY package you want.

If I was loyal to any car / truck manufacturer it would be Nissan.
But if I like a car, then I like a car no matter what brand

I'm not really. My Mother had a Honda Accord for the longest time, then went to a Chevy Tahoe and Saturn Vue and is back to a Honda Pilot. My first and second car was a Volvo, but Volvo and I have had to get a divorce since they were sold to the Chinese. Otherwise I'd still be "brand loyal" to them. I'm willing to give anything a look.
