Today, while driving approx. 65 mph, I felt a downshift and the orange wrench came on. I also noticed that the gear indicator lights were not on. I tried the tow/haul button....nothing. I drove on into town to the auto supply to get them to run a check on it. I pulled into the parking lot, put it in park...IMMEDIATELY, the wrench went off, the gear indicator light came on, showing park and the tow/haul button worked. Go figure. The guy inside suggested checking the tranny fluid. There isn't a way to check it on 2011 F150 with V6 EcoBoost. So, I cranked it up and drove home. No downshifts, no wrench light, no tow/haul button problems.......Does that sound familiar to anyone? I'm taking it in tomorrow, but if there are not problems, there won't be any codes I'm guessing....
