Your required in MI too. One main thing killing MI rates is the catastrophic claims fund. "Michigan's system is unique in that it provides for unlimited, lifetime medical auto insurance benefits for catastrophic claims. The fee covers benefits that exceed $550,000 per claim." The whole life time thing makes its a bleeding pig of money that means our rates have to go up annually to cover the new claims. I think its around $200 per vehicle per year now.
