Default Is it worth to buy and certify this 2010 f150

Hi guys
I am planing to buy my first f150 2010.
It’s the 4.8l crew cab short box.
It’s a private sale and it doesn’t come certified, I attached a picture of the issues that need to be fixed in order to get it on the road.
Unfortunately I am clueless when talking about vehicles.
But it definelty looks like it’s not going to be cheap.
Anybody has some advice, would be appreciated.

Most things are worth it depending on price and your ability to make the repairs. I would add all the parts/labor cost up and deduct that from the ask price. Get it lowww

The price is actually not bad at all. Asking price is $7000. Has 166k km. A few small dents here and there but overall in decent shape.
I won’t be able to do the repairs myself since I don’t know what I’m doing lol.

Do you have a rough idea what it would cost ?

your asking something that can’t be guessed... nobody knows what it will take to fix all that, cause we have not seen the problems. that’s somebody guessing what’s wrong.

I agree.
If I guessed $1500US, there is a possibility that I am incorrect by +/- $500US simply due to location. There is enough wrong to push for another grand off the purchase price.

the parking brake should be a fairly easy fix. The little levers are probably frozen up due to lack of use, but with the age/mileage i would plan on replacing everything

What do you mean by getting it certified?

No such thing as a 4.8l engine in 2010, 4.6l most likely.

$7000 for a 9 year old 2wd truck with that many issues - that you know of, possibly more and you admit you're lost when talking about vehicles. RUN.
Not trying to be an ***** but if you're lost when talking about vehicles someone is going to take advantage of you when you take it to them for repairs. I could see them charging you another few thousand for something that may not actually cost what they say.

That list is going to cost you a lot. Tell the seller to fix everything first. I would not buy this truck with these issues.
