I would say everyone I've been in but, Fields Dodge in Sanford Florida hands down. Had multiple issues with them well more my wife. First she brought her car in for service early in the morning for service as they were getting robbed, 2nd time she wanted to test drive an SRT Challenger and when I walked away the salesman was berating her by asking if she could "handle a car like this" and "this may be too much for you". 3rd time my wife's charger was t boned in the middle of us refinancing our house so our hands were tied for a week or so before we could buy her a new car. She wanted a shaker Challenger so we go in look at the car. No one comes out to help....10 minutes later I go in and grab a sales guy leaning playing on his phone...… 5 minutes later here he comes with the keys. I'm completely honest with him that we have about a week till we can buy and he flat out refuses my wife a test drive cause we were wasting each others time. I chewed his a$* out in the parking lot.

(since i was 200 miles over 36k, but existing issue). They lost my business forever.

Oh well it's still raining out so here goes.1995 wanted a 4WD to use bowhunting/fishing/camping in the Nicolet and Chequamagon National Forests northenr WI. Decided a Ranger RCSB ideal for the FS roads. Much research prior to going to a dealer and I had options, package/item #s, and prices. A RCSB, 3.0 V6, 5 speed manual, 4WD, manual hubs, manual transfer case, off road tires and the heavy duty steel wheels, and the steepest gearing available. No interior options, bench seat, vinyl floor. Living in SE WI I had Burlington, Union Grove, Elkhorn. Kenosha, Racine and Milwaukee to find one. A month of trips and talks with sales people 14 out of 15 dealerships wanted to do a search for what I wanted (or their interpretation), 2 said bench seats did not exist in the Ranger line. 1dealership in Waukesha (Jack Griffin Ford) first comment from the salesman was it would not be found at a dealer and needed to be ordered, and he could take my order immediately. Owned it for 19 years and sold it to a co-worker, bought my current 2017 F150 from them and all new vehicles in between. Big bonus was a second shift service department with a good reputation.

About 2000 after adding Gibson Exhaust, Duff suspension, MT tires and Basset Wheels.

Sorry, long tale and not on topic but reversed. It's a much better memory!

Worst, my local Ford dealer, insulted me on an earlier trade in (2 year old Ford Ranger XLT), and sucked all the seals out of my air conditioning on a 2 year old 1989 Aerostar, that's all I want to say about bad dealerships. KM

Yep they used to be great to deal with back in 06 when I bought my previous truck from them . They fired most of that management and then went downhill from there. I refuse to give them any money .

Conlin Collins in Crystal Lake IL. It was so bad they closed, tore down the building and put a VW dealership in its place.

Price was decent and i called them up and we went down to test drive it. The sales guy had to go look for it in the back. He finally found it, all dusty from sitting, but we drove it and it drove fine. I tried the sunroof and it was jammed shut. Also the front seat headrests were replaced with goofy flimsy ebay headrests with the monitors built in. no support for your head in an accident. we went in and i spoke to the sales manager about the safety issue with the junky headrests and the non working sunroof. said id buy the truck if those were fixed. Already had the financing set up and was ready to go. Manager refused to fix the sunroof or put the oem headrests in...said "its certified, take it or we are just going to sell it at auction. we're losing money on it already" i just laughed at him and couldn't believe he was actually serious. went and found a 14 in Phoenix that was cheaper and less miles. bought that instead from a honda dealership that had no clue on what the truck was worth.

They want you to buy it broken, then have it fixed under warr. this is because the used car department would have to pay for the repair, that would cut into said departments profit. according to the CPO program all existing faults are supposed to be fixed. ultimately you get screwed and the tech fixing it gets screwed because he now has to fix it and get paid warranty times instead of book times like he would have had the used car department paid for the repair.

The worst dealer I ever dealt with was the last one I worked at, if I fixed a rear axle and next week a power seat quit, guess whose fault it was.....yep mine. if the piece of junk was all rusted and a bolt broke that was my fault too, "I'm not paying more because I didn't was my car/truck. Oh here is the ok on a job. then after the job is done tell you "oh we got help from ford that is warranty now" that was my last job Mitchell, All data and Chiltons book time for the job was 10.4 hours, Ford warr, was 6.2 it was a a/c evaporator on a 2013 escape front seats, console and front doors have to be removed first. takes 2 people to remove the doors and to get the dash/instrument panel out. I had no problem getting help, it was the fact it was another job that I lost over $100 on. that was over 3 years ago and I don't miss it one bit. everyone blaming everyone but themselves and everyone you deal with is cheap. OH, still in contact with several people there and they still miss be place is even worse now.

Any of the 3 local to me... I had to deal with my IWE grinding all of last winter and part of this fall before any agreed to "fix" it after i made a facebook post with video proof (have close to 15 videos) of it grinding and tagging them. Their fix was to just to the check valve TSB so it stopped grinding in 2wd but the IWE is effed up and it will grind in 4wd when you put a load on it. They of course can't, or won't replicate it so i have no 4wd for winter, great. I can't even fix it because parts are not available.

Auto start stop stops working when temps are below 50ish, constantly says "disabled due to vehicle charging" no matter how long you drive. Their response was that i don't understand how it works and gave me a photocopy of the owner's manual. Tired to use common sense that if the battery was under the cut off voltage after an hour of driving the truck wouldn't have started in the first place and that there would obviously something wrong.

Doors dont unlock when drivers door opens sometime, they just flat out refused to look at it and again gave me a photocopy of the owner's manual about the door locks. Still haven't figured that one out, annoying as hell because it's always when i have to get my daughter out.

All but one wanted me to pay $100-125 to do the trans update TSB under warranty.

I'm afraid if anything serious ever happens to this thing they will just refuse to fix it or blame me like they have so far. At this point the truck is 100% stock for warranty sake, but i don't think i would be losing much if i did lose the warranty.

The purchase process was great because im friends with the guy that sold it to me and the finance manager, their service dept just sucks and so does the other two dealers LOL. This will be my last ford, I'm not driving to metro detroit to get any service actually taken care of, the local chrysler dealer is great so i guess they will get my business next time.

Worst dealership is the one I bought my truck from. I put a 4 inch lift in my truck a few months after I bought it, had less than 5k miles when I did it. Few years later I was having issues with my EPAS, the wheel was not returning to center it would just keep turning. Anyway I figured I'd give them a try already thinking they'd be useless. Called them up and made an appointment. When I arrived I told the tech to jump in as I could show him in the parking lot. After a few minutes he told me without a doubt it was caused by my lift and that he'd been a tech for a long time. I told him this is a new issue and the lift was put in a few years ago. I forget exactly but I believe the truck had around 45k miles at this point. I told him to get out and that we were all done here. Few days later I spoke with another dealership and they replaced the EPAS under warranty. Haven't had an issue since and haven't been back to that dealer either..

This dealership isn't the worst, they're one of the best I know. I'e bought my last 5 or six cars from them. They don't give you a long back & forth, song & dance... just a good price (I got $12k off a Lariat Crewcab with Diesel before we started negotiation).

Anyway, I went for a test drive with a new salesman. The dealership had just gotten a big shipment of F350s and Expeditions (and other leser automobiles.) There was no space in the parking lot so they just pulled the new trucks in front of the old ones. My salesman got another salesman to help him move the trucks. They made a nice-enough hole, and he pulled out. When he made the left turn, he scraped and dented the sheet metal behind the left rear door and the left front of the bed. Oops. He went to tell his boss... and that was the last I saw of him. I got hooked up with a nice, new salesman who knew EVERYTHING about the truck. So I bought it.

When their aluminum repair guy comes in (apparently once a week or so), they'll take it in to be repaired and repainted. That promise, and $1000 cash made me happy.

I'll be interested to see the job he's gonna do.

Don't have a "worst" dealer but I can tell you that there are two dealers I will never buy or lease a vehicle from due to the way the clueless and arrogant sales staff treated family members and a couple of my friends in the past. Can't say who the are here for reasons but I can PM that info if anyone's interested.
