OPer, why didn't you post that CEL code earlier?

Try tapping the cat lightly hammer or block of wood to see if you can hear anything rattling or bouncing around inside it.
Sometimes but not always thats a dead give away of a bad or about to go bad cat.

Default About cats code

I didn’t post that due to the last time the code came up it was with cylinder three misfire. So I replaced cool pack and plug and the code was gone after that

Now you say there was a code for a cyl. 3 misfire?
CEL codes are important when you ask for advice here.

I can understand replacing the coil pack for that cylinder but did you pull, examine and/or replace that cyl. 3 plug yet?
There still might be something going on with the cat. I wouldn't ignore that cat CEL code completely.
What about the O2 sensors?
How much mileage on your truck?
A plugged cat or faulty O2 sensors can definitely cause engine drivability issues.

With the symptoms you have described, it would be a good idea to rule the EGR valve out. I would do so first and foremost, isolating it from the engine completely.

Converters - If you're without an infrared temp gun in your arsenal, pick one up. A cheap one will work to determine a blockage problem.

Default Update

Yes I replaced the plug in #3 ,4,7, and 8 about 5-6 days ago. I was starting and was some what driveable. The problem I was have after I replaced the plugs was the ruff idle , which start the before I replaced the plugs. Every thing I was reading in the book kept saying to check throttle body, plugs, coil packs. I had already changed the coil packs and plugs so I cleaned the TB by taking it off the engine. Where I messed up was spraying starter fluid in the intake where the air filter is not knowing the MAF sensor was in there so I replaced that as well. So news plugs, coil packs, MAF sensor and throttle body. I even found a vacuum hose that was cracked and replaced that to. Checked the fuses to the fuel system, fuel pump would ingage and the fuel filter was replaced 5-6 months back. The truck would start on the first try and run but when I tried to drive it would die. Going around the block it died 4 times. I am at a loss and pretty much unable to replace the converters on my own so that would have to go to the shop to be done.

Any more CEL codes?

Some ideas.
Did you remove and clean all engine and chassis grounds?
Compression test?
Did you do a fuel pressure test?
Check further for vacuum leaks?
What about the IAC valve? What are the engine rpm's at cold start?
Are you sure the throttle body gasket is not leaking?
The cat could be possibly plugged see'n you got a cat CEL code in the past Again, how many miles on the truck?.
Since this all started with misfiring, how about injectors? First thing i'd do is carefully inspect the injector connectors and cabling.
And if they look good, ohm out the injectors.

As a last resort you might want to re-seat the PCM connectors.
