Default Wished i would have went 5.0

I found a ecoboost f150 i liked and bought it for 22g had 22k miles on it.

29k miles fell on its face skipping: Took it to dealer said it was bad plug replaced whole ignition system.

30k miles i was changing oil and noticed a couple drops of oil so took it back to dealer. Said they couldnt find leak so they put dye in it. And told me to come back after 1k miles.

Took it back and dyed oil had leaked. And after a dang week in shop called me today and said it was coming from turbo so they ordered one and its on the way...

So where does the lemon law come into play?
Reckon i can atleast trade it in on a 5.0 and get a good deal?
This sucks.

Sucks that your having trouble. I think every state has different lemon laws but generally it has to be the same issue multiple times, from what i've understood. Since you're having different problems, you may not get so lucky.

Correct ... Lemon Law was started for when a NEW vehicle has a recurring issue that (for whatever reason) cannot seem to be corrected. Not only does the issue have to be recurring and/or constant and non-fixable ... but this also has to happen within a defined time period from purchase to whatever (I can't recall what the duration is).

If you happen to have a vehicle that just has constant issues, all different, but all fixable ... and you just keep getting inconvenienced due to the issues, there's nothing the lemon law can do for you. (at least not that I know of)

Keep the Ecoboost in boost and it gulps fuel. The 5.0 is no guarantee of not having issues but I'm done with the problem plagued Ecoboost.

Ever since it missed and went limp that day and i had to take it to the shop ive been giving it hell to see if it would sputter again and my mpg is 14.6 lol. Pre skip mpg was about 20. And that is not impressive for a 2 wheel drive ext cab imo. Think im just gonna trade in on a 5.0 screw 4x4.

Quick Reply: Wished i would have went 5.0
