Default Wipers wont turn off

So I have a 2011 f150, 9800 miles on it. I had a factory remote starter installed on May 3rd no issues. Today I turn my wipers on, they will stay on the lowest setting when I turn them off. Not sure the remote start has anything to do with this, thought I would throw it out there. If I remote start they don't come on. As soon as I put key in or start with key they run on the lowest setting.. Any ideal or thoughts what's wrong? Thanks for all your help in advance!!!

No.. I have owned truck for about 18 months. ... I would hit spotted patches of rain then be outta rain for a little while and they kept going on. . Tried to replicate tonight, took a few times of on and off then they stayed on.. my guess is switch but thats a total guess... Thanks for your reply!!!

A 2011 with 9800 miles is still under warranty. Get it to a dealer. It sound like a faulty wiper delay module.

Darn, too bad. Sometimes its nice to find they put an extra option on the truck without noticing and you get it for free !

Hi mikead150.

I would take your truck to a Ford dealer to get this concern diagnosed. Let me know what you find out.

So it was the multifunction switch. The dealer had 3 the same day , a f250 switch getting hot, and a van. Common issue this week. Fixed it yesterday. Thanks for everyone's help.

You're lucky that was a warranty fix. I had to replace one on an old explorer and it was a few hundred bucks if I remember correctly.
