Default Winter time car wash?

Hey guys I moved up to northeast Alaska from San Antonio in late June. This is my first time living in a cold state...we really didn't have winters in Texas. For those of you in cold places, where do you wash your truck in the winter? We have 6-8" of snow and single digit temps right now and my truck is filthy!

Generally car washes will close when it gets below 0. If you do go through a car wash I would buy the underbody wash to get the salt off (if they use that in AK?). One thing you'll want to do is dry it quick and make sure you open all of your doors at least once so they don't ice over.

touchless? they will never get all the dirt/grime off. I'm not a fan at all of slap-n-scratch by any means, but touchless is a 2nd place to hand wash.

Better than nothing though, I love ONR for hand washing however.

Washing in my driveway isn't an option, I tried and my hose froze solid and the water on the truck started to freeze before I could finish. I've seen a few automatic washes with garage doors on each end but they always seem to be out of order or closed when I go by. I guess I'll have to trust one of the local detail shops to do it and just hope they don't scratch it to hell or charge me an arm and a leg for a mediocre wash.

I use a touch less wash every week or two to just keep bulk of grime off and salt off

My friend has an auto detail shop about 1/4 mile from my house. In the winter I use his wash bay 2 or 3 times a month.
