windshield sun blocker

What does everyone use for a sun shield in the front windshield? I need something, and the accordion style i bought is a piece of crap (won't stay up, tired of fighting with it.)

I can’t use one in my truck because I have a permanently mounted dash cam but we got one for our ‘15 Escape that rolls up and fits perfectly from Cover Craft. They are custom fit and vehicle specific.

Cover Craft for me.

Advance auto accordion style on sale for $8.95. It works fine & I have a dash cam on the windshield. I was not about to spend $40+ for something that does the same as I bought.

I have always used Heatshield with good luck, little cheaper than cover craft and weathertech.

I have the 2 panel quick fold/super twist, super jumbo size sun shade.
It folds up in a couple seconds, and it fits perfect in the map pocket on the back of the passenger seat.
The exterior is silver/gray, the interior side is black.
I have used this style in many vehicles, and they have always worked as good as any competition.
They fold quicker and store smaller than the accordian style too.
I also had a WeatherTech sunshade in my truck for a few days. I'm not knockin it, it was good quality, but bulky, it was too rigid to put up or take out without contacting and having to readjust the rear veiw mirror.
The fold up one I have now keeps the interior just as cool as the other brands, and blocks the sun, plus it's the fastest and easiest to store.
$16 at most any walmart
Cheap enough to try.

I saw this one, and probably should have bought it. the accordion just won't stay up enough. Might give this a try.

Covercraft all the way. Kind of pricey but well worth it. Bulky as well but even as an accordion style it stays put well. But if you are going to be parked for extended periods in a safe place nothing beats an exterior model that stays secure by closing the doors on tabs extending from the cover. Recently bought a quilted-material, roll-up model that really makes a big difference.

Collapsible and conveniently stowed in the pocket on the back of the front seat ...
