Solar tint only keeps out the UV Rays, it doesn't darken the windows like the rear. Solar tint isn't included in the tint laws for that reason.

Mine have same marking as Rnlcomp posted and I checked the NC regs and could find nothing referencing solar tint.

Your not going to find any reference, because thats not considered window tint in regards to any tinting laws. All ford carlite windows are uv tinted.

Yeah I know it's splitting hairs but hey, it is tint so saying Fords front windows don't come with tint is erroneous.

Sounds like he should explain that fee from the get go if he's tired of explaining it afterwards. Seems like a lame fee, wonder what it actually funds.
