Will Ford move away from extended cab?

If they do, they wont have a f150 I will buy
I've had super cabs all along which give me some room behind the front seats for stuff and if needed, somebody can sit back there too.
This time around, i got a crew cab, but only because i wanted the platinum. Plus i wanted the 6.5 box, which makes this truck over a foot longer then any other f150 i had. Quite frankly, this truck is just to big for me. I WONT buy another crew cab.
Just wish ford would make super cabs available through out the f150 lineup.
I don't need my truck to be a people mover. I have a MKX to do that.

taken from motor trend's FIRST LOOK at 2014 silverado.
One major goal for the 2014 Silverado and Sierra was to improve cabin refinement, and toward that end, the door frames have shrunk so their (triple-sealed) gaps are more out of the wind for claimed lowest-in-class cabin noise at highway speeds. Extended cab models have independent-opening front-hinged rear doors, and crew-cab models get shorter front and longer rear doors to provide 4 inches of additional "foot swing" room between the seat and B-pillar.

I'm the opposite. I like the suicide doors and haven't had any troubles with mine. If I wanted regular doors is of got a crew cab.

I hope not. I do not like crew cabs. All of my previous trucks, and my current is a SCAB.
Like another poster said I have a car for people transport and at my age it is just the dog and I.
Whoops almost forgot the wife

where did you read chevy is doing away from extended cabs? what I read was that the ex cab will remain, but instead of suicide doors, they will move to a slightly larger front hinged rear opening door but it will still be an ext cab. the 4 full size door crew cab will remain as well, but to compete with ford it will now be available with a 6.5' bed.
EDIT: the ex cab doesnt grow, just gets rear opening doors
