At idle/low RPM's, yes.

Above that you'll just have V6 buzz. That's the tradeoff.

I find that the only time I hear the turbos on my truck is under heavy load (i.e. towing). Not sure there is enough boost during normal driving to actually hear the turbos much anyways.

Gassers don't quite get the big turbo whistle like diesels do unfortunately. I've owned both, I'm not really sure what the difference is (and sometimes it's the design of the turbine- I've heard more efficient turbine wheels don't whistle as much). But, both my old diesel and my old turbo 2.3L had T3 Stage III turbine wheels on them- diesel whistled like crazy, the gasser not so much. Mostly just at idle and lower RPM's.
