they arent, do a quick search on cars.com or autotrader for new crew cab pickups with leather seats and whatever other options you want and then sort for lowest price first. youll be going through several pages of rams before you get to the first ford, gm or toyota.

In my area of the world where salt and brine are used on winter roads, it's almost impossible to find a Ram over five years old without body rot. The bed and tail gate area seems to be the worst. All steel vehicles will rust, but the Rams seem to be far inferior to the GM and Ford vehicles.

Well, out of curiosity, I went to their Build Site, they are still showing 2017's.

Am I reading their towing ratings correctly? Because, if I am, that would certainly explain a lot.

8,000# tow rating, are they kidding? Is that correct?

Not my experience at all..

I just traded from a ‘10 Ram.
We get 7 months of winter with excessive salt use on all roads. I definitely didn’t wash as much as I should. The truck washes averaged monthly at best!!!. I park in a heated garage every night so pretty much worst case scenario for rust.

My RAM had zero rust at 100,000 miles and 7yrs. Many of the pre-‘15 Fords in this area really show the rear cab and back fender rust.

Im really hoping my ‘17 Ford does as well regarding corrosion. I wash it lots because it is so pretty lol.

Bah, owned a Dodge Ram before and I had more transmission problems than you could shake a stick at. My wife will not let me get another Ram again.

Yeah I noticed that !!!!
I’ve got the Raptor so my front fenders and rear rockers are also bulletproof.

i was very lucky with my 2500. Had to put front u-joints in a couple times but that is it.
That’s why I’m really liking this AWD on the 150,
