Because one (lariat) is a truck and the other (laramie) is a polished turd.

because the ford f-150 is the most american made vehicle available right now. with the highest domestic parts content, and assembly in the states, they are paying more to produce it.

if you can afford it, you should try your best not to get rammed.

best build quality, best looks, best capacities, best everything.

Just went on the Dodge website and it shows the 2014 Ram 1500 LARAMIE QUAD CAB® 4X4 6'4" BOX is $43,665 before ANY options are added. Went to the Ford website and a 2013 F-150 Lariat 6 1/2 bed 4x4 before any options is $43,050. This is not at a dealer right off the website.

I don't know about Dodge (excuse me, Ram) incentives but you can probably get about 11-12k knocked off the 2013 Ford msrp right now depending on where you live.
