Unfortunately I don't have a wife or a girlfriend. I do have 2 kids who occupy all of my time. I have offered to let both of them drive on back roads but they have declined. Neither one are driving age yet.

my ex gf drove my truck a time or two, that part is not what concerned me. Its when she got out the truck that was my problem, as she chipped the paint on the passenger door twice in a month which was within 2 months of the truck being new...

My wife refuses, says its the one thing that's mine and she doesn't want to mess with it.

I did let my 22 yr old daughter drive it once. To cheer her up when she was down. A little gift. Lol. Now she has her own 2011 Jetta fully equipped, now she has her own car to love.

my girlfriend has keys to my dakota and likes driving it.. but my ford she says is to loud and sits to high.... and its not even lifted yet...

The truck belongs to the wife. She can handle with her boots or Christian Louboutin's on.

I get to drive it when doing yard work or towing the trailer.

However, my ride isn't so bad.

who wouldnt trust their wife/girlfriend to drive their truck? unless they are really bad drivers than fork over the keys. only rule i have is ya have to be able to pump your own gas! if they refuse to do such a simple thing then ya need to reevaluate her potential as a partner.
