Give the truck a chance. Have you thought about Katzkin leather? It's better quality then OEM and would fix your white spot issue.

do you have them in your truck?

I don't have them in my truck yet, but I'd like to put them in eventually. I hear nothing but amazing things about them. I don't know about install, and I don't have the time or patience to mess with something like this. From what I read, the leather costs around $500 - $700, install can range from $500 - $1000, just depends on where you buy it and where you get it installed.
