Default Where do i read oil life remaining?

I have a 2011 FX4 and I have searched for the answer to this question but all the answers seem to show something different than what I see. I have had my FX4 about 6 months now and since the previous owner got the oil changed just before he sold it, the "Change Oil Soon" warning just now came on. I have gone to the Information screen like many of the posts on this topic suggested but there is no % Oil Life Remaining information.

Am I missing a step or???
Thanks in advance for the help!

Once the Oil Life meter times out it shows up on the screen before that as an alarm and disappears off that screen.
It comes back when you reset it in the Setting/Vehicle/Oil Life.

The previous owner did not reset the remaining oil life when the oil was changed so it has no way of knowing. so at next oil change just reset simple process explained in owner manual.

Yes, once it trips no percentage info is available.

Seems kind of "dumb" that it would no longer show the percentage once the warning comes up but I'll guess that the guy that wrote the program probably isn't a car guy (sorry, my personal bias on coders My wife's Honda starts showing a warning at 15% life left and keeps counting down. I guess I expected to see some percentage left after the "change it soon" warning came up.

Oh well, now I know. Thanks for the info!

The change it soon light comes on at around 5%, I set mine for 70% on in comes on at roughly 4,800 miles and I change it at 5000.

Thanks for that info - at least I now have an idea where my oil life is at. Time to go oil shopping...

Not completely correct.

It comes on about 5% OR just before 12 months, OR at 10,000 miles. If one of the latter two conditions tripped it, you have no idea how much life was left.

....wow.
How did everybody know when to change their oil before a dummy light came on to tell them. Sigh.

My little sticker in the top left hand of my windshield reminds me but I also write it down. I write down my wife's car when it needs changed, my push mower, and my riding mower.

Obviously we all know oil is the life blood and if you run short or to dirty, kaboom.
