Yeah what sucks is there isn't an abundance of shops over here in Hawaii and to make it even worse there isn't a whole lot of shops with paint booths large enough to fit my truck. Most of the vehicles over here are Toyotas and Hondas so the booths don't have to be that large. Whole reason I went with the shop I did is because they are 1 of only 2 shops on the entire island that could do the job.

Did get a call from their insurance company today who said they were doing an investigation into the theft. Great, more delays in getting my truck back. At this rate I'll be lucky to have it back after 2 months.

It really sucks when there is a scarcity of shops... The only alternative that I can think of is to do it myself, and buy the things I need online...

Two vital things kept me from doing it myself;

1. The equipment
2. The know how

Other than that I would have been good to do it myself.

Not yet, it's a tough decision. I still ahve sometime though as the insurance company is starting an investigation and won't tell me the total I have to spend until after the investigation is complete. I wish I had some mad photoshop skills so I could photoshop each wheel onto the truck just to get an idea what it would look like. My fear is I'm going to pass up what I had (which I liked) for something new and in the end I'm not going to like the setup as much as what I had.

Wife is saying go with the revolvers and a set of the mud grapplers. Gertting some folks saying that the noise with the mud grapplers is too loud, wish I could ride in a truck with a set of them. What do you guys think of MT's? May get them instead of the mud grapplers as a compromise. I just really, really like the look of the grapplers.

I drove past a Hummer one day with them and at 55MPH they were pretty loud, but for the look I think they are worth it.

Could you get up to a fast enough speed where you are to really make them howl?
