Default Wheels stolen off 13' FX4

First time poster here

I live in an apartment complex and last night a crew came through and stole the wheels off of my 2013 FX4 and another guy's Silverado. Didn't break into the cab, just took the wheels and left it on cinderblocks.

I've only had the truck for about 9 months. Dropped it off at the Ford dealership here in Houston and am waiting to here back from them on ordering new wheels. Does anyone have experience ordering factory wheels through a Ford dealership? I'm wondering how long this might take.

That sucks, but nothing suprises me these days. I don't think it is a long wait to get factory wheels from the dealership... about 7 business days

although I have no idea of the price of factory wheels, it "might" be cheaper to go aftermarket... or buy a slightly-used take-off set.

but I also understand that you need your truck back ASAP and sometimes convenience is worth a few $

I would check craigslist right away. Some criminals are really stupid.

Are you covered by insurance? If not I would suggest going with aftermarket wheels. Factory wheels are expennnnnssivvveee from the dealer vs a comparable aftermarket set. If it's on your dime I'd suggest buying some aftermarket ones

No experience but I bet it takes a bit unless there are some at a local warehouse. Where do you live anyway?

Its time to move!

I have insurance and they will cover the cost of the wheels, but I still have to pay $500 for the deductible.

These kinds of things happen in all of the apartments in the Houston downtown area. Wheel locks wouldn't have done much good as these guys are pros and can get through those pretty easily.

I'm gonna wait and see what the dealership tells me as far as getting factory replacements. I might try and get the black FX4 wheels from the Appearance Pkg.

Maybe just use the money and get the wheels from a member here. You could probably get the wheels for 1/2 of the insurance payout. Could probably get them with some kickass tires too.
