Default What's your exhaust/ intake preference?

I know there's threads everywhere, but new people read these everyday and I like seeing the most recent opinions. I have a 2015 2.7L XLT and it is QUIET. My old '04 rumbled like the devil and made me feel all giddy inside when I started it and floored it. So what are you guys running and what are some ideas on a set up to get it loud, but not annoying?

You won't get much more than a more pronounced turbo whistle. Ecoboosts will never sound like a V8.

I don't even care about it sounding like a V8, I just want, you know, some sound. Right now it makes about as much sound as a Tesla. I've heard some catbacks in some videos, and they make it sound a bit better at least

Solo or Corsa.

Solo has a black friday sale going on right now. Less than $700 for the full Mach X Dual kit I believe.

There's so many options, the 1st I'd suggest deciding on is do you want to keep the single exit similar to stock or do you want dual pipes and if dual do you want rear exit or behind tires? Right now's the time to buy with the deals going on and even though I've not seen them in person the Solo Mach systems look and sound awesome and the pricing is incredible!

Unfortunately I purchased a Borla S series the day before the Solo 2015 models were announced or I would've bought one of them. But I know I'll be happy to have something with a little more sound as well as a lifetime warranty. Speaking of the UPS man is delivering my exhaust today and I get to throw it on tonight, woohoo!!

I think I would see if changing the exhaust would limit or void the warranty before you spend $ ,hope you can find a good sound at a decent price

The only portion of the warranty that will be voided is the exhaust system itself since it is not a factory part on that truck. Nothing else will get voided.

For actual, like (2.7L) owner experience consider the following .....

HINT/TIP: You'll find posting in the
Late Model F150s > 2015 Ford F150
section more helpful/appropriate than General F150 Discussion posts.

Every 6 cylinder I've ever heard with a loud exhaust always sounded like someone farting in a bucket.
