Good time to tell the kids "do as I say not as I do" but it makes me wonder if my 03 with original shocks would carry that

I guestimated some concrete block...WAY off
I forget exact weight but I think it was over 2700 lbs...about 2x what I thought
I took it easy, never hit the stops
I also loaded some into the front cab to level off the load

being in the flooring industry your pic is to familiar to me, Most of the time I get the wood delivered to job sites but once in a while I have to do it in my truck, I have load range E tires and rear airbags for the occasional delivery.

I like the way you secured that load

In my old 01 scsb v6 it was 1.5 yards of top soil or about 3k. The 2010 4.6 rclb I packed 2yds in or about 4k. Both trucks were very near the load stops and light on the front. The soil was mounded well up on the rear window level. The trip was only about 5 miles so not too bad.

3500 lbs.. no joke. My dad wanted to see if my f150 could handle his wakeboard boat, I ended up only taking it to the gas station.. not gonna lie, it was sluggish for me haha. But I pulled it!

I've had about 2000 lbs in the back including a motorcycle on a hitch hauler, always a little nervous about putting that much weight on the end of the truck like that, the tongue weight of the hitch is barely rated high enough for my motorcycle+hauler weight...
