Default What is your favorite Ford Feature that drives you to be a Ford Owner?

Many years ago I had a Datson 620 extended cab. In 1992 I got a Ford Explorer the second year they were released. That began my love affair with Fords, although in some cases they didn't love me back. Which is why I ended up with a Chevy Suburban for a few years. I loved that thing and drove the wheels off of it. But now back to the Ford F-150 where my heart is. I love the style of the door on F-150 and for me that is my favorite feature of the F-150. How about you?

What year F150 and what do you mean by the style on the door?

My parents have been driving Fords for 30 years and have had very few issues and nothing major. All 3 of my Rangers were trouble free, and my F150 has been to. But IMO, one of the best things about the F150 vs the competition (at least when I bought my '12) is the room in the back seat of a crew cab. I've had 5 grown men in mine for 4 to 5 hrs trips on multiple occasions and everyone was comfortable.

An F150 was my first vehicle - got it when I was 15 then got my license at 16. Since then I have been stuck - except for my VW TDI hobby for a while. But still always had an F150 in the barn.

I might be restricting myself too much but I have never driven a Chevy or Dodge pickup in all my life. Just the way I am and always will be.

But as far as my favorite feature as of today - it has to be the big cab. I bought a new '09 FX4 crew cab when they first came out with the new large cab - I am still amazed at all the room in the back with the seats folded up.

The style of the door here too - drops down for more light, good visibility. Reg cab here - the comparable GM truck cab is a dark cave in comparison.

Current model doors. But I also love the center console with sync 3 screen and the best backup camera in the market IMO. Ive tried/test driven the Toyota Buick, Chevys; when you sit in any of these you can't wait to get back into a Ford.

I have always found Ford seats to be much more comfortable than any other truck.
