Seems like X-Plan with Mullinax and a dealer transfer...

Yes but you have to understand I am shipping from Baltimore or NY/NJ ports, they have RORO service to Livorno, Italy for a good price. If I go to central FL I have to get the truck moved to port which drives costs. I don't know much about transfers but I assume if the FL dealer gets it from the MD dealer it is delivered in FL?

I disagree, If you were in TX and found a truck in another state you should be able to contact the dealer, make the deal, pay for the truck, and then make arrangements to have it picked up. I bought a Dodge in 2003 from overseas at dealer in DC and paid for it and they had it waiting for me when I arrived at Baltimore, whole process was painless. That was 15 years ago when internet sales had just started. Salesman was retired Army guy who understood my needs.
It is the dealer's staff that simply don't want to go out of their way to do something our of the ordinary IMO. They lose the sale and just don't care. A lot of Europeans buy cars in FL, I know several guys who buy cars in Miami all the time. The dealers down there are used to overseas buyers and cater to them. Like I said above, the purchase is jut like an out of state or non local buyer but the staff is lazy or uniformed, again IMO. Anyway, I vented and am done.

Let me clarify, I am a US Citizen from Texas, I have legal residency in TX, I have residency in Italy as I physically living here. I am eligible for X Pricing as a disabled vet but have never looked into it. I don't need the dealer to be involved in the export, the sale is really just like selling to someone from another state. One dealer said "OK, we can help title in TX and charge the TX sales TX" to which replied thanks but no thanks, don't need tags. Again, it is just like you driving to another state to buy and taking it home on a trailer and then registering in your home state.
I really believe they just are not used to doing a cash deal long distance and don't want to waste time.

Having sold cars for awhile, 2 things to note... 1 - your situation sounds sketchy (almost like a scam) I realize its not, but overseas, bank transfer, etc... 2 - the emails you are getting that ignore your questions are probably auto generated and not sent by the actual sales person, although they will have a signature on them.
