'13 F150 Stuck in Park, Truck says Its in Drive?
Hello! I'm new to the forums, What brings me here is a new issue with a truck of mine
The truck was driving fine and once to our destination we shifted to park and turned off the key. After a little while we hopped back into the truck and turned the key, the dash indicated that the truck needs to shift to park ( But the truck is in park ) When trying to apply the brake pedal there is no movement as if its completely compressed already and the shiftier will not move. Truck will not start and its dead in the water
Its a 2013 F150 Eco boost FX4
Any help would be great.

Check the transmission range sensor. There's a plastic collar that could be worn, sloppy or broken. I'm having intermittent issues like yours on a Ford Fusion but I had a code when it first started.

If it's a console shifter, flip the button that is used to get it out of park a few times.
