Default What do you pay for oil change

Im trying to see what everyone pays for their oil changes. Let me know if you do it yourself and what oil and how many quarts. If you bring it to get done let me know where, how many quarts you get, what type of oil, and what all comes with the service ( tire rotation, top off all fluids, etc..) i just want to compare what all you guys pay and compare it to what i pay up here in fairbanks AK and see ifit worth doing on my own rater than brining it somewhere

I take mine to the dealer. Get the coupon from www.fordowner.com for the "Works", oil change, rotation, and 21 point inspection for approx. $44 tax included. They use Motorcraft oil 5w/3 syn blend.

I do it myself. 7 Quarts of Mobil 1 5W-20 Full Synthetic ($40) and 1 motorcraft oil filter ($3 or $4) and 1 bottle of Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner ($4) so about $50 total..I get my tires rotated for free at Discount Tire. I'd do that myself too, but its right by work and its free so I take advantage of it.

I go to Midas 39 $ + tax they change the oil, tire rotation, air filter and top up fluids they use whatever generic oil they use I'd do it myself but still under warranty so I have to bring it to a certified technician

If it was on my dollar I would do it myself.

But I go to a quick lube service place, I think it runs around $90 each time.

Wow, that seems very cheap for a truck oil change in Canada

No you don't... just need proof of service...nothing in the warranty says you need a certified tech to perform your service...

Nothing for 2 years/30,000 miles. My dealer thru in the scheduled maintenance package.
