What to do with my truck during deployment??

Was gonna suggest long term storage myself. Years back when my ship went to Seattle, many people loaded their vehicles into the hangar deck and took them with. Unfortunately, that's not a luxury everyone has.
My hat's off to your for your service. Thank you.

First off, thanks for your service.
Personally, I would say bringing it to your fathers is the best for two reasons:
1) You know for sure that it will be taken care of.
2) It gives you an extra chance to see him for a few days before you get deployed.
The trip can be done in a couple days, so I would say go for it.

So we leave for 7 months coming up soon. I'm a single guy and dont really trust any friends to take care of my truck. (also don't really want to ask that of someone)
I'm in jax, fl and my dad is in jax, NC.
Should I just drive it up there and leave it with him?
Any better ideas to keep it in FL for quick access when I come home?
Been in 5 years and haven't been gone longer than 2 months yet. I know, I know.....

As for your signature though, Ford never put a V6 into a 96 or older truck with the exception of the 1981-82 CAFE trucks. You mean an I6?
