Was in the middle of going from my old office in Norcross Georgia to our new office in Buford Georgia and then my F150 decided it didn't like shifting gears anymore.....started bucking like a wild bronco when starting from a red light. It would get up to about 15mph and smooth out only to shutter wildly again. Sooooo, i spent this afternoon getting it to a transmission shop....can't wait for the verdict....not so sure 'eyeluvmeyef150' right now......

To the transmission person. $20 bet that its the shift solenoid. Another $20 bet that the transmission shop will tell you, that a new transmission is needed. On my old S10, every transmission shop told me, I needed a new tranny, then My mechanic, called BS and replaced the solenoid, and it ran beautifully.
I replaced the spark plugs, air filter, and did an oil change to the 95 F150 I-6 that I traded last week. Runs like a new truck. I want to do a few things before the big trip. I need a new door. Its bent to all hell, and doesn't shut properly. Yes I know about the door pins, but the hinges and door are bent. so I rather replace it all for $50 used, then change out the pins. Also need a fender. Thats the plans for this weekend.

Happened yesterday, but went over to a friend from work's house, shoveled in a load of dirt/clay (by the way, this becomes a very cheap way to level your truck, unfortunately lower rather than higher). Took the load home and filled in the holes my dogs have dug in the yard. I forgot to take pictures, but she was loaded down pretty good and still drove like a champ. Needless to say, my whole family was tired after that.

Got pulled over by State Patrol.
77 in a 55...
Talked to him for a few minutes and he casualy commented that he would feel bad ticketing me before I even got my temp-tags off and told me to slow it down.
Probly didnt hurt to have him walk up as my two Daughters in the back seat 'lectured' me' on being bad and making the trooper pull me over.
Bottomline... No ticket! (Although I know it was deserved if he had issued it)
..... Real glad he didnt get me on the interstate... Garmin shows top speed during the trip as 97... Must have been when passing someone.
